My mistress practiced with me again this week.
We do nose work every day. The track circle in which I have to look for my food, we do now not only in the garden, but also in other places. We were in the hunting ground this week and I had to work the tracking circle there. My mistress was very pleased that I searched focused despite the increased distraction.
Otherwise we practice sitting and foot walking. The clicker is still used for this. I have now understood that I have done something right when it clicks and then I get my reward!
My mistress has built a kind of platform for me. She calls it a placeboard. We practice “sitting” on the platform. Later I am supposed to do “down” on it and practice waiting. My mistress is of the opinion that I concentrate better on the platform at the beginning. If I can do the exercise well, I will continue to practice on “normal” ground.
