Today my mistress took me to my first breeding show.
There were many other dachshunds!
Somehow I wasn’t quite comfortable with that, but my mistress was with me.
When it was our turn, my mistress first sat me on a table.
The judge first looked me in the mouth, then palpated my tail and then measured my chest circumference – I had 36cm today.
The judge complimented me on my coat. Ideal hair and very well groomed and with my tail and teeth everything was fine.
After that I had to run with my mistress in the ring. Also here I was complimented that I already run very beautifully for my young age.
The judge rated me as “very promising”.
I got a blue ribbon and had to run again with three other young dogs at the end.
I almost would have become even the most beautiful young dog, but the judge liked a short-haired colleague even better today.
Mistress is very proud of me. 😊
